Samsung Electronics has announced an exciting collaboration with Netflix, aimed at delivering an enhanced viewing experience to users. Through this partnership, Netflix’s vast collection of content will now benefit from Samsung’s HDR10+ technology, available on the 2025 Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, as well as select 2024 monitor models.
“HDR10+ brings a whole new dimension to content viewing, offering deeper contrasts and more vibrant colors to create an immersive cinematic experience,” said Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.
With Netflix’s user base surpassing 300 million, this integration promises to offer even more immersive viewing options for subscribers. Samsung’s commitment to expanding HDR10+ across a wide range of devices and streaming services remains a priority.
HDR10+ is a next-generation high dynamic range technology developed by Samsung to ensure each scene is optimized for the best possible picture. The technology dynamically adjusts brightness and contrast levels, resulting in each frame being displayed with remarkable detail, while staying true to the content creator’s original intentions. This partnership aims to bring enhanced picture quality and realism to every scene in Netflix’s growing library of HDR10+ content.
Support for HDR10+ on Netflix will be available on the 2025 Samsung Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, as well as select 2024 and 2025 monitor models, with additional model support coming soon. Samsung’s efforts to expand HDR10+ support further within the streaming ecosystem are ongoing, with a focus on collaborating with more industry partners.
