Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday met with top traditional rulers across the state to deliberate on critical issues of peace, security, and socioeconomic development.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor emphasized a multi-agency strategy aimed at reinforcing security and curbing the movement of violent non-state actors into Kwara from areas like Kainji Park.
“We are empowering local actors in community-based security,” the governor noted, urging royal fathers to mobilize their communities to support these efforts.
Vice Chairman of the State Council of Chiefs, Oba Ibrahim Bologi II (Etsu Patigi), applauded the governor’s transparency, pledging continued support from the traditional institution.
